If you are referring to the one I think you are, with the motor combonation that was in it last year, I sure hope to freakin' God it beat all of the local mustangs. I think the owner put a tad more aggressive motor setup together than the rest.

That is a very uneducated statement!

If a Ford powered mustang with huge compresion, big inch, power nothing, less then a 1/8 of street miles put on it, and a big shot you guys would say it is unfair it is a racecar!

Nothing against Scotty but it is true!

Yea man, I dont know what it is....Alot of Brand loyalists get upset when you do a Hybrid swap.

"Thats GAY" "What did they do to that poor car"......and so on.

I thought guys were going to lose their minds when they put that RB26Dett into that Old Mustang, and someone posted it here.

No nerve, you cannot compare the two!

If you just wanted to go as fast as you can, nitrous and big compression is the way to go. But there are some serious draw backs!

As far as the chevy Ford thing goes, there is VERY little left even on my car that is Ford.

This year some things are gonna change!

I dont understand the reasoning behind doing that install?? It's cheaper to build any 302/351 engine compared to any L-engine. The coil's on the firewall look like a hobo Christmas display.................My 2 cents.....

:rolf :rolf I agree 100%.

I was just throwing my opinion out there as far as what I thought about it, some people like hybrid stuff some people don't (I obviously don't). I will always like Ford Chassis/Ford powerplant vehicles better.

Just kind of a side thing. If you wanted to compare apples to apples, use all the faster turbo/supercharged chevy powered mustangs in the area against us? Oh, there are none. Hmmmmm. Not trying to be an a$$, but think about it.

an RB20 looks basicly the same as the RB25 to the untraid eye..plus the casting numbers on the timeing belt cover give it all away LOL...

I actually looked at them, and there is no part number on them. There used to be a Ford Motorsport tag on them, but it must have torn off. Make me an offer on them, they are just sitting, waiting for a vehicle in need. :D

Better platform?

Advanced Engine design compared to a 302? Maybe they rolled their Z28 and bought a Mustang shell for cheap.

I think its cool, if he just wants to go fast straight. On another thread we talked about how the Ls1 without tranny weighs as much as the SR20det with tranny. So it upsets the near 50/50 weight distribution of the 240.

As far a Chevy, Ford, Toyota motor going into a Nissan, thats what makes America great. We can fvck up our cars as much as we want. ;)

heh... yeah its all together, just gotta spend some time on the fine tune, make it run decent for street use... oh yeah and i gotta get those 4.56's out of there too yet, almost for got about that!

Planning on it debuting may 1st, bout a week earlier for pics.

I have speculations on the could runs, should runs... but who knows, not gonna stress over it. Gotta play with that suspension like the rest of ya too, thats a big gray area for me as well.
