Damn!! I've heard of someone beating Kimbo but now I've seen it. Gannon is nowhere near top of the line for UFC fighters either. Gotta be able to take it as well as dish it out. The fight would've been over a lot earlier if they were using MMA rules.

In Gannon's defense of his UFC carrer, he has only just begun. He is 1-1 in UFC, but has numerous MMA championships in other ventures under his belt, and he is a very good boxer. Part of the problem with this fight with Kimbo, was that Kimbo's people set the rules, like they always do, to help Kimbo. There were very strict definitions as to what a kick was. There was strict definitions as to what a chock was. There was to be no attack upon a guarded fighter, which you can see Kimbo did violate waaaaay before Gannon started to throw the knee at his head, and when Kimbo went down, Kimbo's people formed a wall so Gannon couldn't continue an attack, which not only once did Kimbo go down, it was 3 times if not more. Kimbo's people were all over Gannon right when they saw that Kimbo was in NO WAY prepared to fight and actual fighter, no matter his record in the land of the best MMA fighters. There will be a rematch. Gannon wants Vale Tsudo rules, not Kimbo rules.

I don't know much about Gannon but if he can take Kimbo he obviously has some skill and fighting ability so he has my respect. However, his previous record can't be used for hard evidence on how good he is because amateur fights are just that. They are fights with less talented fighters. That is how you start your career though, you beat the easy guys, take a step up and if you continue to win take another step up and so on. What weight class is he in and who did he beat and lose to?

Funny, Gannon got picked to fight in the UFC because of that tape and got WHOOPPED on hard! He is slow and fat, he was just a media tool since he was a cop and had controversy over him getting fired made for good tv.

Orlufski(sp..russian dude that cant speak a lick of engrish) is the friggin man!!!

Look at the ketchup can he fought though. Yeah, he busted the eye socket of a man, thats not a small feat, and I'm not saying he isn't the best tough man against other non amateur level fighters, because he can whoop up on the crummy fighters who haven't had any nails in the wall to hang their hat on. But, for as bad as a pro fighter Gannon will most likely turn out to be, he is a professional, who did beat an amateur who had alot of hype behind him. Kimbo is the Brodi Miller of MMA, lots of people hype him, he performs greatly in fights he should win, and the big one he does nothing but suck air and gets knocked to the ground alot. I'm not pro Gannon by any means, like Yoosef said, he's very slow, and out of shape compaired to some heavy weights such as Andrei Arlovski, Jeff Monson, or Tim Sylvia, all guys who probably would handle Kimbo quicker than Gannon, and there are alot of guys in the light heavyweight division who would destroy Kimbo. So let him and his porn peddling friends keep setting up basic bum fights with rules set for him to win, he won't last long in true MMA events.
