Does anybody know who sells an aluminum wheel polishing kit locally? I was going to pay someone to do it but I figured I would give it a shot.

Does anybody have any tips for doing this? Im just polishing the lips on my wheels.

Sears sells 2 or 3 different setups, I got the one with a 6" (I think) buffing wheel, and 4 differnt bars of the polishing compound. I also got the small 2" buffing wheel which came with smaller bars. It works pretty good but what I have found is you can save a ton of time with super fine grit emery cloth and water. Put your rims in a tub of water, start with like a 400 grit and work up to 1000, then polish with the finish compound. That saves alot of time and reduces the amount of times you will overheat the compounds.
