My first attempt at taking some cues from the legendary motorcycle photog Micheal Lichter (http://lichterphoto.com/).

Not the best one of the series but I haven't had time to work on some of the others recently so I thought I'd post this one anyway :durr

EDIT: Decided to add one more tonight :D

i like how the rear tire is FLAT, has no curve in it. Has the profile of a auto radial, nice and flat

Yep you guys guessed it, this one is also a model. Threar tire does look wierd I'll give you that but then again the real one has a 255 on it so they do pick up off the ground like that (just not quite this bad!)

Eh anyway it was just another lighting excercise. I have some bike shoots coming up later this year and figured I would do some "mock-up" work on lighting now so I have a better idea of how many strobes+power+space I will need when I go full size :thumbsup

Thanks for looking :shades

lighting the real thing will be pretty tough i would think....bikes are hard to light correctly. Just watch your white balance!

Yes they are. Also I know the WB is different in these two. C-WB will be used in the end shooting RAW. These were just quick tests to rough in a plan of attack ;)
