I too can't wait to see this car run a number. It actually might be making TOO much power now. Very impressive regardless....I read on evolutionm.net that this car is owned by Chris, the guy from Florida, is this correct? He was one of the first to hit 600+WHP in an EVO

Well the car is out of Pensacola. FL. No he wasn't the first one to break the 600 mark. Just what you read on the forums isn't what is actually out there. I took a trip down to FL over New years and some of the evo drivers down there have some pretty nice rides, one in particular. I know with a gt40 set-up he laid down somewhere in the mid 700's. Nice guy also.

I didn't say he was the first....he was one of the owners that created waves by hitting the 600whp mark though. So yes he was one of the first. Maybe not the first but he was an early achiever of the mark. I have heard that FL has some serious HP down there. A friend of mine was telling me there is a "Horsepower Alley" in a suburb of Miami where nightly cars square off on the street....not 111 whp civics either, big tired novas and mustangs, Supras, EVOs, etc...he told me the most fun car to watch was a turbo'd small block Mitsu Conquest. Like Chitown when chris described it, the street is prepped better than a race track. Has to be fun to watch
