I can't do carfax but I can tell you what was done under factory warranty.
the catalytic convreter was replaced at 26,019 miles 9/12/05
downstream O2 sensor at 19,830 miles 4/23/04
Pinion shaft seal was replaced at 10,256 miles 7/30/02
there were also a couple trim things with the front door armrest and rear quarter and an exhaust hanger or clamp at 10,256 on 7/30/02
no branded title or warranty block, It came from Randy Holser Pontiac in Clarkston MI.

That's a normal statement... My thoughts are that happens becasue the car don't have a branded title... Because technically those are police reports, not reported by the DMV...

Why is it 'exempt from odometer reporting' too?

It's exempt from odometer readings becasue it's older than 10 years. The only time that the DMV gets damage on the title is when an insurance company calls it a salvage vehicle, or someone rebuilds it and it passes the inspection to get a salvage title from what I understand. Also a junkyard/salvage yard can report a vehicle as a salvage car. I've also seen people mark the wrong box, or mess-ups in Madison with odometer readings, etc...

Hmm, I wonder if it was all one crash? I know there was bad front end damage, the whole front was replaced (core support, fenders, hood, bumper, lights) and the back passenger quarter is pushed in a little like it was rear ended.. *shrug*
