That is David Wolfe who owns Wolferacecraft believe it or not that was on stock "type" suspension!!!!
It is a 382ci, TFS R heads,106mm turbo and BIG M/T DRs. I gues it is the same motor he ran all last year so it isn't that fresh, just some changes. People say he will go alot faster. Here are some older pics of the car.

street cars in comparison to your cars... of course not.

street cars in regards to them being based off of a real car and chassis... most of them are. the TOP class ones are less so, but still represent a street car compared to NHRA Pro Stock cobalts, probes, mustangs, avengers, etc... that really don't look even close to the vehicle they are representing. Your "daily driven" street cars have no real business competing at this level, just for simple safety factors.

I know this is an old a$$ argument. But just in MY OPINION, calling any of those cars STREET CARS is a JOKE.

Cars like SmokedU's Mustang, Scotty Ks Mustang, and others like ones those you can actually DRIVE up to the Burger stand on are fast Street cars.

Those are full blown RACE CARS.

Almost like calling a Nascar car, a stock car.

BTW.........Im not saying those cars are not AWESOME machines. :thumbsup

i know, the term is loosely used because it's meant to categorize them different than those full blown Pro Stock cars. Alot of them are purely Pro Stock cars without the sponsorships. The others, like Steve's Formula with the LS1, are and can be street driven. His is still the stock style torque arm suspension that is in our f-bodies. Not even a 4-link car.

When the whole heads up racing started those were their real street cars and as the cars got faster they just kept on building off the "street" name as in Super Street, Pro street. etc.
