FYI.. a guy on our local board has a '97 TSi AWD for $7k (60k mi, new timing belt, ported 16g, exhaust, system, etc.) it's A/T though.
Prrrobably not going to get $10k from anyone on this board, maybe eBay or Autotrader, heh.

Two totally different cars. Especially since his is auto. The autos aren't worth anywhere near a M/T , in a dsm. Remember 53K miles and NO RUST , very clean, and quite a bit more things done. Oh yeah this car also has 8K on new timing belt, tensioner and tensioner bearings, also new oil pump. Hard to find them not butchered up. I have dyno'd enough dsms and i can guarantee it will make 300whp if not more. Never raced it at the track, i have another car for that :D , so i don't have any timeslips for it.

You mean in the DSM world of modifying cars. From the factoty, the A/T's cost more, and have a higher re-sale value as well.
