It should also fit the 05 model year. I am not sure about the new 06 with the 2.5ltr. I know that it will not work with the STi 6 speed....without modification. I honestly believe that it will fit an 06 WRX, as I do not recall any BIG changes to the tranny. You could always find out if the stock part number for 02-05 WRX flywheels is the same as 06.
