I think the prices are inflated a lot, just because it's Barett Jackson. A lot of nice stuff on there.

Actual car collectors are bidding now as an investment.

In year's past everyone from offshore investors to realestate
people were bidding. The people buying today are finacialy
stable "car guy's" not Tokyo insurace owner's looking for a
buck (market dropped out back then, 10+ years ago).

It's wierd not sure how I feel about it for us little guy's but
at least these car's will be around when we hit the lottery!

the guy who bought that 'cuda with viper engine was the owner of the car. So he had to pay 16% $180,000.00 because he didn't wanna sell for less.....

Our owner was on stage and TV a few times when the big Mopars took the stage. Client ended up buying one Green Hemi Cuda at $450,000.

Prices are RIDICULOUS! Tommy talked to the owner of that GM bus...he would have sold it at $600,000. And it went for $4mil HAHA. An unfortunate situation arose from this however. Bidding actually went to 4.6 million. Only after the gavel dropped did the high bidder find out Barrett Jackson was using fake bidders to jack the price up. He got in Craig Jacksons face until Craig made them drop the bids of the "hired" bidders...so thats the business they are running...kinda sad. The house also made in upwards of $30 million just from this auction....

wow yea

The stock market hasnt done to much lately so people are investing in muscle cars... and collector cars in general... if the stock market rises up again... we could seethe prices come back down a bit... happend ten or 15 years ago.
