There is a 2000 WS6 for sale near my work. It has 90K, 6 spd, and appears all stock, from what I could tell. Odds are, it's been driven in winter, and they are asking $14,000. Do you think this is a good deal? Anything I should be wary of? BTW It is at a dealership. Thanks guys.

scam....unless the title is held in Slovakia and is the seller's name is Khafir Hrisdhma Mierhjknajna. Then its legit. Just wire the money to him for $20,000 and he willsend you a check back in the mail for the difference. That way you avoid paying taxes on your purchase.

Sounds like the one at Heiser? Sold it in 2 days once it was on the lot. The car was mint minus the seat had a rip in the passanger side. The car was not driven in winter Under body was perfect. Car was not hit. Came from Washington.

Kyle

P.S.- I did the saftey.

Im glad they sell for more, it just means the value of the rest of ours might hold out just a tad bit longer. $14k from a stealership isnt too bad for that imo but the mileage is high. My 99 only has 63k.

Granted i don't own one but that price does seem kinda steep, especially since it's a high mileaged car. I see them on auto trader with less miles than that for cheaper
some even at dealerships.

Why do you want to sell the SS already? I will be looking to buy another LS1 F-body in a few months..

Thanks for the info guys, and yes, it was the one at Heiser. I did only see it there for a couple of days, but it looked like it was in good shape. Oh well, I'm not really in the market, but this one really cought my eye. I really don't need anymore cars anyway, I have three already. Thanks again.

These cars at dealerships ALWAYS sell for higher. Look at the same year, base camaro z28 at Holz for $15,000 on the window, with 60k miles. And then a regular z28 from '01 w/ 20k miles for that same 19,995 window sticker.

if you compare it to the nationwide sales on ls1tech, where you got ALL markets being compared, it's gonna seem high. Compare it to chicago where these things are a dime a dozen. same thing with houston area in TX. it's worth what someone is willing to pay :)
