with a 6 lb sledge

Used the front fender over the rear wheel

and painted the tank SEMI GLOSS

ontop of the 5" drop, stripped down everything, and new headlight

Awsome! I can picture you wearing the leather helmet and goggles for this bike. :D Seriously, it would look sweet!

Just so we are on the same page, I LOVE bikes. My thing I wanted to do for quite some years is take a Harley frame and throw a RC51 v-twin engine in there. Make people go "WTF?" Give a custom bike some GO!

DUDE, You stole my idea.

Mine is a little different though. I wanted a TL1000 motor in some kind of chopper frame.

Just out of curiousity, have you ridden the bike now that it's a hard tail? If so, what are your impressions?

Oh yah, I was out riding it the last few days before, during, and after the paint / narrowing process. I actually hard tailed the bike back in early October. It is NOT as bad as it sounds. I ride the bike as you see it, without a seat. And to tell you the truth, I love it. When railroad tracks come up I do stand up though :rolf And the bike doesn't go over speed bumps anymore, only has about 3 inches of ground clearance. Once I cut teh center stand off, I will have abotu 4 1/2

Pretty F'n ugly, eh? I had this bike for 100 bucks, handed me the key with the title and thought he was makin out. Reason for selling? " This bike is too ugly for me, I cant even see it looking nice with a new paint job or chrome wheels "

Pfft, chrome wheels? Common.

I come across junk like this all the time, next time I come across a beater I will throw up a flag for you guys, for sure.

What are your plans for a seat? You gonna have some spring style seat or straight up hard tail?

I dunno yet, I am kidna thinking about just building a slim frame and throwing some material over it. Meh, who knows. For now, I'll ride it as is
