Couldnt you just call Chevy Parts dept. Say I have a 95 v6, and also have a 01 v8, are the part #'s the same?? Just a thought.

Well the part numbers at rock auto are different.
V-8 acdelco #2171528 http://www.rockauto.com/ref/GB/Detail.html?83211183.jpg
v-6 acdelco #17113611 http://www.rockauto.com/ref/GB/Detail.html?83211162.jpg

if the pictures are the right ones then are different.
Dont know if any help but i figure i would try.

I think v-6 is about 17-21# and v-8 seems to be abour 20-30#

"01-02 LS1 (LS6 intake) have the bigger 28.7lb injectors VS the 24.6lb or maybe 26.6lb injectors in the 98-00 LS1 (LS1 intake)."

id say hes better off just buying some new ones or used low mile injectors running the ls1 would be to much messing around.

i know that when i switched injectors to ones that flowed more, i had to change the flow value in the pcm from the previous 24 to the current 42. i would put my money on them not being able to work

It may be too much for that car. Maybe have to get the computer changed for that.
