i have a '05 EVO and i would like some kind of data logging device. The main thing i want to be able to log is A/F and engine speed. I can't find any type of datalogger for an EVO. I did find one made by scanmaster but i never heard of the company before. I do have a laptop that i can use if required. I don't really want to run a full EMS yet, so in the mean time i would like to be able to street tune my car with my SAFC-2. Any suggestions???? thank you!!!

scanmaster is popular for the lt1/ls1 cars. Its a black box that you can keep in the car and can look at that info. Ask Tom (badssls1) and Jeff (slowc5)

If you buy a used OTC monitor 4000 from e-bay with an import cartridge
(about 50-70$) I have a program you can use for free. The OTC scanner
has a built in record function that can be quickly downloaded to your
laptop, records long enough to monitor a full quarter mile run.

The OTC 4000 is also marketed under MAC and other names just
punch in scanner on e-bay.

Depends on what wideband 02 you are using. I use an innovate lc-1/xd-1. I run a different type of system for logging although I could use the innovate and a aux3 box.

I just ordered a scan tool which also logs, just not afr.
