did you do all the stuf yourself? time slips? what boost levels? track or everyday boost levels? regular 93 octane or race gas? dyno sheet? i want to see this powerband. maybe will explain the 104 mph better. and what else is done to the engine or suspension?? IC pics?

12.9 is good though. not many will see that coming.
we HAVE to race once mine is running good.

daily driven boost of 8psi. all the work was done by my friend matt. regular 93 octane was in the tank. dyno sheet is on my car domain page. ill post the link tomorrow, along with pics of my i/c. engine is stock, the only difference is that the injectors are bigger.

how much did it cost you to do it?

Stock engine??? i thought you were running mid 14s??? N/A or is this a different "stock" engine like im doing? LOL
otherwise im impressed. 12.9s are great. so with 8psi you hit 12.9s damn

its the stock motor that came with the car that i am boosting. the car has 130,000 miles on it. i ran mid 14's with the motor n/a, but wanted to go faster. so i put a turbo on it, tuned it, and i now run what i run. my car weighs 2800 lbs, and it has 280 horsepower to the wheels. thats a very good power to weight ratio. if and when i get a fuel computer, i can run 15 psi all day everyday, and that would put me low 12's. i know this because my friend matt did it with his probe. but i think solid 12's are fine with me.

do u want to know what it cost me to buy everything to make it where it is? or just to turbocharge it?

huh huh he said "probe' LOL yeah yeah thats cool.

thats one freak of a probe to hit 14s in stock form.

14s are impossible for a stock probe gt (93 97) unless your going down hill with a tail wind :banana1: . Anyways, how many of you can say "You've been probed" to the ricer that you've just defeated. BTW im planning on custom plates come feb "Prob3d U"

so good luck? did you see that my friend matt did it on his probe. he had the same fuel computer i am getting, and he ran that kind of boost for months. and it was seriously on a stock motor! when he added a 50 shot of n2o, thats when it blew. he blew it on purpose on the dyno, so he could finally build a better motor, and run even more boost.

what did you have done to run 14's i know its not to hard for 1st gen probes to run 13's,with the stock small turbo and motor. With just a boost controller chip, exhaust and air filter then its up to the driver. But my friend had a 2nd gen probe with intake exhaust and that cat eliminator thing which is gay but yeah my friends mustang walked the **** out of it and my friends stang runs a 14.8, but anyways you should just get a klze. They have better heads and cam and intake and i bet youll get 20hp or more just from switching to the klze. :thumbsup :alcoholic

too bad the ze has higher compression. 10:1. t am running 9:1 right now, and thats pretty high for boost. if i wanted to go all motor, a properly tuned and modified ze motor can run 13's. i wanted 12's so i went with boost, and i am there. i had full exhaust, intake, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, test pipe, colder plugs, plug wires, and lsd. i ran 14.9 with that set up.

ahhhh.. LSD is nice. prolly how you hit 12s. alot of needed traction with all the added HP on FWD.

14.9s huh......mmm hopfully i can hit 12s

Russ Jerome

12 second FWD's are a blast, just irretating trapping 115-120
while the RWD in far lane just ran 10.99 @ 120....as you close
in on him at big end of track :(

Berettaspeed

thats why i thought his MPH was low 104?? i was like what!!!

but 12s for any FWD is cool even low 13s is cool. I drove my car last night, wow. i had no traction at all until middle of 3rd. but i was just flooring it LOL. i hit 13.2around 3grand Air to fuel... then @ 4500 it started going up and away. LOL i just went for a gas fill, and turned out to be a 10 min drive around. how does this happen?

what is the limit for A/F ratio for a boosted car?not the okay, but your pushing it limit? 12.5-12.8s??? cause i have hit way higher and people are saying my stuff should be blown up? i also have like 9.5:1 stock then with 6 psi or so.

Russ Jerome

Depends on power level and engines VE, there all different.

EGT's are the final determining factor, cast pistons go boom
at one level and forged at a slightly higher level. Grade of fuel,
timing both base and under boost all effect "your" ride. Any
4 popper can make 500hp, just may only be for 1/1000 of a
second :)

That would be Paul's colt.

Here's a post from him on the mirage forums. Car is insane. I was at the dyno day at NCR, he put down 327 I believe, later he went back and put down more.
