My father needs a new license plate bracket for his 87 Monte Carlo. GM doesn't make them anymore, nor do they have a part number listed for it. I can't seem to find it on year ones website.

Hmm, rear bracket? The part that flips down when filling up with gas? I would just get it at a salvage yard, never really heard of them going bad so most likely on a junk car its still good, plus its aluminum so it won't be rusty either. Or for a easy upgrade while hes at it is getting a late model b-body holder, IIRC...haven't done this yet but it bolts right in(same basic thing) but it holds down or has a latch that makes it easier when getting gas instead of sticking the cap to wedge it open during fill-ups. Quite a few have done this to their g-bodies.
