I have a older Simplicity needs a new rim its 5 or 8 horse i cant remember.i put a new chain and drive belts on it last year.75.00 and its yours im in Waukesha

The rim can be bought at a Simplicity dealer..i need the room in my garage so this has to go asap. i have the owners manual for it too.

You should be able to get a rim at Farm n Barn, Northern Tools or Fleet Farm. Shouldn't be real expensive.

is the rim that bad that it cant be used or just it is bentand could be replaced?

the hub of the rim rusted and cracked.the hub part of the rim is still on the axle.the other part is still on the snowblower it wobbles badly.thats why it needs a new rim.

I've got an old Simplicity as well. Not sure what it needs, but it hasn't run in a while. $50 firm.

I can prolly take some this week. Mine does need work though... It's all there, but hasn't run in quite a while...

Not always true. Many Simplicity parts don't mix with standard (Fleat Farm) stuff. My old rider had a slightly different size wheel and would never seal right with simplicity parts rims (and vise-versa). If you go this route, get teh Simpilicity parts. These units are very reliable and worth the cash.
