i wonder if the dude that hooked it up bought it ligit and thought it was clean. then spent all that money on it. but from what is sounds like that is not the case.

still very funny. i would sell the thing and make some money

If he is dealin drugs I'd hate to think he can't afford a clean Caprice instead of stealing one....considering you can get into a nice one for what, probably 2-3k or so?

Back in July we took in a 32,000mi '89 Caprice that we sold for $3995... That thing was CLEAN!! Grandma and Grandpa got a new Buick LeSabre... That, in 16 years will only have 32k on it... :rolf :rolf

I don't think they are quite THAT bad. Plain yes but to me 80% of the cars on the road are as plain and even uglier :).

Even though they are heavy they would make a neat sleeper.

My grandpa has a 84' Delta 88 Royale with about 70k on it, very clean. Just a tad of rust in 1-2 of the 4 doors but very fixable. Whenever it goes it will surely get pimped out :(...I'd be tempted to put in an Olds 455 and hot-rod it since it has some sentimental value to me.

not that I hate them. given the choice I would take a Monte Carlo every day over a caprice.

weren't they a G-Body back then??? or what chassis did they run on?
