Brought dad home from the hospital today and I'm just amazed at all that's happened to him in the last week. From pretty much loosing him Monday night to the heartattack ...and almost again at the hospital later that night, the quad bypass the next day and them having him SPEAKING and WALKING 6 hours after closing him up and now bieng kicked out because he's too well for further hospitalization just frik'n blows me away. Its just amazing how modern medicine works when given the chance to. He also had luck/chance on his side at the precise moment when it counted because the Rochester EMS and Racine County Sheriff maaayybe took 2 minutes to get to the house after the call was placed. The Docs all agreed that the EMS's reaction time to arrival is what ultimately saved him. Backing up Chris's thread- never forget about the family.
thanks all for the well wishing!
Now for in-home recovery over the next few weeks.
Everyone on this board who is in the med/rescue/fire profession, a big thumbs up to you all!
