I ran across these pics on a MSN group... The fella that posted them claims they are spy shots of the next Firebird. Looks like Photoshop to me. Not making a statement, just sayin what I think.....

The latest Hemmings Muscle has a write up claiming they have pics of the new Camaro and GM is offering to kill them over it. Interesting reading...

If GM was to bring back the bird I doubt it would be a replica of the first gen. Those were almost invisible sales wise. An updated Bandit era would be realistic. I'm sure there is a script out in Hollyweird for Smokey and the Bandit Revisted......

The pics are rather blury. Looks like one of those Hotwheels demo cars, where they take toy car and make a real version.

The car looks like crap....and besides there will never be another "firebird" in name...Possibly trans am, but never firebird....somthing to do with the ownership rights to the name

That car is friggen hideous! If they ever released some foolishness like that, i'd be done buying GM products. The fact is, there will never be another Firebird. So that pic is complete BS.

this is an actual proto type of an early gen 1 fire bird they are in a firebird book I bought for my son for X-mas- and they were prettied up, reaqlly ugly I think!
