Did you ever see the guy with the LS1 in his Subaru? Not sure if it got finished or not but it was on LS1Tech.com

yea, pretty neat build also. It bounced around the subaru forums a little bit. I personally wish he would have stayed with a subaru powerplant in that instance as 500+ awhp in these cars is becoming more and more common

I never doubted the potential of the WRX's... :)
Speaking of hi po "EJ20"'s (I hope I said that right :goof), what ever happened to Steve from HWY 100 with his stroker and fully built WRX? Did he end up reaching his goals? It sounded like a very thought out project and from what I saw, the quality of his work was very high, very clean.

last I heard he moved to st. louis and there was talk of selling the subaru and getting back into mustangs....perhaps someone else can chime in with more. Steve's Subaru was an amazingly-well put together car. I had seen under the hood a few times and it impressed me everytime. :)
