If you were Don Garlits JR, you'd be driven a mopar! :goof
You've never seen a crank driven S/C? I think I've got one in an old 60's hot rod magazine around here...
I KNOW I've got a draw-though TURBO in one...looks funny mounted sideways where the battery sits with a carb mounted on top.

I've never seen a picture of one with a big procharger sticking off of the front of it! How about a chain drive?

Detroit Diesel has been flywheel driving there supercharged v-8's forever.
Still slugs they began feeding the S/C by 2 turbochargers in the70's and
thru the 80's! Always wonderd why we did not do the same to gas motors
and now the answer, looks like a great idea.

Now is the first blower a 1:1 ratio? I'm assuming not.

No, I believe that is a miniature tranny between the balancer and blower that provides the step up.
