My wife's friend just hit a deer that stood as high as her minivan. Friggin thing had antlers about 3ft long each, just took the hit and kept on running. Trashed the front of her van, I am very surprised the airbag didnt fire off. Damm hood is practically welded shut.....lol but DAYUM!!! :wow :wooo

I saw a deer that big out here in Dousman when i was on my way home from work last week friday. Thing was HUGE!!

The deer are out for sure. I almost hit one Sunday night on my way home. Luckily I had my big fog lights on to see it.

Yeah, I have had quite a few deer cross my path recently. I am glad I didn't get close enough that I hit them.

Thanks Scott but she wasnt in the car. The lady was 2 blocks from our house when she hit the deer. If Debbie was driving her truck I doubt that deer would have just walked away so easily. ;)

It was Sentra vs. deer for me tonight. Sentra lost. Damn big deer though.

Made me wonder, has anybody ever avoided a deer once it was in the road.
I've seen them on the side of the road, behind me, and further up in front,
but man, this one came out of nowhere. Didn't help that it was rainy and a
bit foggy.

Please, do be careful out there (if that even helps, might be better just to
have luck).

Unlimited deer hunting year round for all I care!! Would probably save a lot of lives of people killed in deer-related car wrecks.

Here's a tip, when you see one of those stupid mother****ers standing on the road, or on the side of the road like he's waiting to ambush you and jump in front of your car at the last second, tap your horn a couple times really fast. I know it sounds cheesy but it really works, they get so startled by the sound that they will run away. I think they can hear a lot better than they can see. Saved me a couple times.
