Mid-late december.

Temps have been well above average so far, 60's on Friday & Saturday...
Go global warming!!!
Any of the first snows that will hit will melt instantly, the ground is way too warm yet.

But you know the government, they can't wait to use the salt and soak up some of that budget.

I agree but that doesnt mean the cities wont salt unless their budget got hammered after last year. I hope no salt soon, I still plan on driving my car for as long as I can.

I was hoping to go to GLD tonight, but looks like they are shut down other than weekends now. Hopefully I will catch a weekend before the year end.

I never got why people store their cars in october. We never get a good snow until January. They never even salted until late december when it rained once.

Snow is fine for me too but as long as theres no snow or ice on the ground I will most likely still be driving my car. I never understood why people store their cars so ealy either. I simply cant go that long without driving my car, its like trying to stop masturbating......why even try!@?!

I also landscaped previously, they usually salt around Dec 1st over the last few years due to mostly mild weather.

I love driving my cars too but since it gets colder and crappier out, the only time I have are weekends to enjoy them and most of those are crappy by November too. I'm just glad to have a nice October to enjoy! :)

When the GTX was new,I knew I should of stored it. But I loved to drive it too damn much. Heated leather when its -30 is definately a plus.

I have a decent winter beater for this winter. (93 lumina) So perhaps it will get stored this winter. I've got a number of things I could work on it through the winter.

At work yesterday the company that we have a plowing contract came and salted the entire paking lot. Then after I left work there was salt all over the roads. I mean piles of it, what a joke. Well that just means the bird will sit and not see the light of day till spring, its offically time for the cars to sit and thats that. :crying

looks like the middle of jan here in washington county, infact they dumped so much salt im gonna run out to a few select intersections with a shovel and put it in 5 gallon buckets and sell it to people for their sidewalks and drive ways :goof
